  1. Sorry for having to post this here, but I know the readers of this 
  2. newsgroup are very knowledgeable about 3D animation.

  4. I am a Lightwave Animator myself and have been since version 2.0 came out.
  5.  
  6. However, a decision has been made by my company over which I have no 
  7. control, and that is that we will probably be moving all of our video 
  8. production to the MAC system.
  9.  
  10. I need to know what the best (and most usable!) 3D animation packages are 
  11. avaiable for the MAC.  From reading this group it seems obvious that 
  12. NewTek aren't planning an adaptation of Lightwave for the MAC in the very 
  13. near future, so I need to look elsewhere.

  15. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

  17. And if NewTek is planning an EVENTUAL release of Lightwave for the MAC, 
  18. that info would be of help as well since the move we'll be making 
  19. probably won't happen for up to a year.

  21. (Please, no "My system is better than yours! Nyah Nyah!" responses... I 
  22. would like informed, educated opinions backed by solid information.)
